We don't just do timetabled classes, Holly has multiple bespoke services on offer including workshops for schools, extending our outreach to children.
If you're interested in bringing our workshops and extra curriculars in to your school, get in touch!
The benefits of dance and movement range from improved strength, focus, coordination, agility, flexibility, balance and stamina, to better stress management, self awareness and a stronger immune system.
Students are given the opportunity to be part of creative videos and occasional performances should they wish to share what they have learnt, however this isn't a required part of joining the dance and fitness family.
We are breaking the mould of traditional exercise classes by bringing focus to the unique, playful, and creative ways we can improve mental health through movement, in a way that has people proud to talk about it!

Meet The Instructor
The journey that inspired North Cornwall Dance and Fitness.
Hi, I'm Holly, and as a young girl, I immersed myself in dance whenever I could; it was my escape from life's challenges, bringing me joy, friendships, new skills, and good health. I simply couldn't get enough!
From an early age, I discovered my passion for choreography and knew it was a path I wanted to follow.
In 2014, I launched a small contemporary dance class where I could teach and film my creative ideas. Over time, this expanded to several more classes of my own, and I was invited to teach dance at a local performing arts trust. This experience gave me the opportunity to choreograph on-stage pieces as well.
In 2017, I decided to pause my classes, leave my hometown, and explore Cornwall. I ventured into various industries, training as a chef and beer brewer while I travelled to pay my way, but nothing brought me more joy than teaching dance. During my time away from dance, I also went through a journey of mental illness, and since recovering have become extremely passionate about helping others who are experiencing mental ill health.
- Holly Tomlin
Fast forward to 2023, I am formally trained in dance, yoga and fitness instructing, I rooted down in the stunning moorlands of North Cornwall and am investing in my dream of establishing a dance and fitness group that offers joyful and healthy activities for my local community.
Currently, I am also completing my master’s degree in creative practice and am establishing a CIC, connected with social prescribing services, to further how I can help those with mental illness through movement. Whether you’re here for your health, happiness, or both, I look forward to meeting you in the studio and being a part of your journey.
